The Hyperthyroid Cat Centre in Yorkshire is proud to announce they have cured the first hyperthyroid cat in the UK, able to go home only 4 days after radioiodine treatment.  Founding Clinical Director Andrew Bodey said “The long weeks of hospitalisation following radioiodine are behind us.  Cats can now leave our Centre only 4 days after treatment, improving cat welfare and addressing client concerns about time apart from their pets.  This helps make radio-iodine the hyperthyroid treatment of first choice, not last resort”.
